Filmed at Selah Carefarm, the world’s first carefarm for traumatic grief, this 30-minute documentary follows those who come seeking solace, connection, and the strength to keep going. At its center is Erik, a father and farmhand rebuilding his life after the murder of his three young children, now navigating joy and sorrow alongside his partner Shiloe and their newborn daughter. Founded by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore after the death of her own daughter, Selah offers no platitudes or quick fixes, only a space where grief is honored and carried with care. Woven through Erik’s story is a four-day workshop, where six bereaved individuals process loss with the support of Selah’s team, revealing the quiet courage it takes to keep living in the shadow of unimaginable pain.
